Alleged Cop Killer Survivalist Caught After 48 Days on the Run

FBI Most Wanted Fugitive Eric Frein has been captured after a seven-week manhunt. He's accused of shooting two Pennsylvania State Police officers.

Alleged murderer and FBI most wanted fugitive Eric Frein has finally been captured. 

Frein is suspected in the September shooting ambush of Pennsylvania troopers outside a barracks that left one officer dead and another wounded. Police say Frein left behind a diary detailing the shooting and other evidence that linked him to the crime. 

Frein, 31, described by police as a survivalist, was found in an airplane hanger at a former resort in the Pocono Mountains,  the Daily News reports

Pennsylvania State Police and the FBI have spent millions searching for Eric Frein over the past seven weeks, reportedly coming up with little more than his dirty diapers and the occasional sighting by a local, until today,
