There’s nothing quite like watching two rich white guys arguing over white privilege.
Well, in Bill O’Reilly’s world it’s more like Asian privilege, but you get the point. The bombastic Fox News host made an appearance on The Daily Show last night ostensibly to promote his book (which they didn’t discuss), but really just spent his whole appearance sparring with host Jon Stewart.
The two men clearly don’t like each other, although it must be said that Stewart really is equally guilty of instigating the confrontation. He knows just how to push O’Reilly’s buttons, and gleefully does so on topics like white privilege, Oprah, and race in general.
For two guys who agree on virtually nothing, though, it’s actually damn good television.
