It may not have a name or a cast, but know this much: AMC’s long-dormant companion series to The Walking Dead is officially a go.
If there’s one thing America has proven that it loves, it’s zombie shows. And if there’s one thing AMC needs, it’s another hit series. Sounds like a perfect match.
Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson wrote the pilot episode, which is set in the same world as Walking Dead but features entirely different characters and storylines. The only detail AMC has revealed is that the series will not be taking place in Georgia, but in the weeks and months ahead more information is bound to emerge.
