In perhaps the lone positive development to come from “the Fappening,” AKA the leak of countless nude celebrity photographs, a group of Redditors have begun donating to prostate cancer research in honor of Jennifer Lawrence, one of the most affected victims of the hack.
Research has shown there are some surprising ways to help fight off prostate cancer, hence the decision to donate to this particular cause. You can monitor the progress of the fundraising efforts here, and wistfully shake your head at the scrolling “honor roll” on the right side of the screen.
There’s something about this that seems a little less noble than, say, the Ice Bucket Challenge.
