Stephen Colbert Promises Immigration Reform…in 250 Years

Stephen Colbert consulted with a future version of himself to see what happens with immigration reform.

“Wait till next year.” It’s an adage that’s overused in sports, and now it seems like it has made its way into immigration reform as well.

Following President Obama’s promise that he was going to pursue immigration on his own (and his subsequent reneging on that promise until after the November election cycle), Stephen Colbert felt it important to chat with a future version of himself to ensure Americans that reform is coming. And, you guessed it, reform is coming. Next year.

It’s hard to take Future Stephen seriously, though, when he says to bet everything on the Cleveland Browns. It feels a little like sabotage.
