Shooting Leaves 3 Dead at Alabama UPS Facility

Horrible news out of Alabama this morning.

Three people were killed in a shooting that took place at an Alabama UPS warehouse this morning, authorities say. 

The New York Daily News adds that police received a call about gunfire at 9:21 a.m.  According to the Associated Press, Lt. Sean Edward of the Birmingham Police Department said that the gunman—who worked for the company—was among the deceased. The Daily News adds that all of the victims were employees, and police say that the shooter turned the gun on himself. 

No other injuries were reported, and a motive has not been identified. "We had people die today who didn’t deserve it," Chief A.C. Roper told police.
