Here's some news to blow your kilt up: Scotland has voted no to secession.

After months of campaigning on both sides (and one very persuasive argument from Groundskeeper Willie), the Scots have chosen to maintain their 307-year-old union with England.

The United Kingdom remains intact, and the price of delicious, delicious scotch will probably remain stable. Scots voted 55 percent to 45 percent against independence in a historic vote that saw 1.6 million people hit the polls. The margin was actually greater than the pre-election polls indicated it would be.

So everyone, don't burn your Union Jack memoribilia just yet.
