The prospect of Robert De Niro playing a crude old man is incredible. That's why we're stoked to hear De Niro, along with Zac Efron, is attached to star in Driving Dick Kelly, an adult comedy formerly known as Dirty Grandpa.
Universal's script has De Niro playing an obscene Army veteran who tricks his grandson (Efron) into bringing him down to Florida for spring break. Jeff Bridges and Michael Douglas had been rumored to take the role of the vulgar grandpa, but De Niro seems like an even better choice. And with Neighbors released a few months ago, it's clear Efron can handle some on-screen partying, as well as impersonating his new co-star.
