Those who watched Game of Thrones last season saw what Peter Dinklage can do when he’s angry and has a crossbow, and it appears he’s ready to take his “angry Tyrion” act to the big screen. Dinklage has signed on to play a bounty hunter in the western crime thriller The Thicket, which will be set in East Texas in the early 20th century.
According to THR, the GoT star’s character will be named Shorty and will be “a grave-digging alcoholic son of an ex-slave and a street-smart prostitute.” A drunk who is undoubtedly jaded and sarcastic (but also potentially deadly) living in a world where death lurks around every corner? Sounds right up Dinklage’s alley.
