Two Pennsylvania State Troopers were shot in an apparent ambush Friday night outside the police barracks in Blooming Grove, Penn. One of the troopers has died; the other had surgery and is in stable condition. State police spokeswoman Connie Devens told CNN that police have a "person of interest" but no arrests have been made as of Saturday morning.

The names of the wounded officers have not been release, but Noonan said police from New York and New Jersey were also helping in the search for the shooter(s). "This attack seems to be directed particularly at the Pennsylvania State Police," Noonan said.
