It seems that writing many of those lesbian love scenes for Orange Is the New Black gave writer Lauren Morelli some insight into her own sexuality.
Morelli broke up with her husband of two years and is now dating Samira Wiley, who you probably know better as prisoner Poussey on the hit Netflix series about life in a women's prison.
Speaking to TMZ, Morelli said that while writing scenes between the characters Piper and Alex on the show, "I found a mouthpiece for my own desires and a glimmer of what my future could look like."
Apparently that future looks pretty good:
Morelli is reportedly getting the Lexus in the divorce, while her ex-husband will be taking the Mazda hatchback. It's tough to decide which of these developments probably hurts him worse.
