Is that the sound of a studio audience cheering as a shoe salesman flushes his toilet? It might be, or at least something like it.

E! is reporting that Fox is considering a spinoff series from Married ... With Children, the sitcom about a dysfunctional Chicago family, fathered by a guy whose greatest pleasures in life including jamming his hand down the front of his pants and a fictional TV show called Psycho Dad.

It has been almost 20 years since the show went off the air, but with the hype the the show's stars reuniting this week generated, it kind of makes sense.

Ed O'Neill, (Al Bundy), Katey Sagal (Peggy Bundy), Christina Applegate (Kelly Bundy) and David Faustino (Bud Bundy, and for a little while "Grand Master B"), got together when Sagal was honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The new series would reportedly be centered around Bud Bundy, which also makes sense because Sagal has a solid career going after Sons of Anarchy, O'Neill is killing it on the best network sitcom on TV, Modern Family, and Applegate has a successful movie career. Faustino, on the other hand, was in a photograph with them.

The show is only in the pitch stage right now, so we'll see what happens.
