It’s back to school season, which can mean only one thing: massive debt.
On Last Week Tonight, host John Oliver returned from his Labor Day vacation and took on the American college industry, specifically regarding the predatory, for-profit business it has become. At any given time, students in the United States carry more than $1 trillion in debt, which is more than both credit card and auto loan debt.
As you might expect, this doesn’t sit too well with Oliver. What should sit well with all of us, though, is the audio from former President Lyndon B. Johnson discussing his “bunghole.” Because that is always hilarious, regardless of decade.
