Jimmy Kimmel writing a show based on Carson Daly’s life sounds like Kimmel’s most elaborate prank to date, but it’s not since Kimmel and Daly are actually good friends who go way back before Daly became a household name during his VJ days on MTV’s TRL.
Kimmel is penning a show based on Daly’s life post-TRL and pre-The Voice. The show will be about a former VJ who takes a radio show job and moves in with his parents, which guarantees plenty of awkward, yet funny (for the viewer at least) situations.
