More protests took place in Ferguson, Mo. last night after the memorial built for Michael Brown was destroyed by fire. During the demonstrations, an officer was spotted wearing a bracelet supporting Darren Wilson, the officer who shot and killed the 18-year-old in the St. Louis suburb last month.

According to BuzzFeed, Missouri Highway Patrol Cpt. Ron Johnson offered his opinion about the nature of the bracelets, which read "I Am Darren Wilson." "I think that was not a statement of law enforcement," Johnson reportedly said during a press conference held today. "I think wearing that was an individual statement."

BuzzFeed added that he would reach out to the agencies which employ the brazen officers.
