Authorities in Brazil say a gunman has taken a hostage at a hotel, forcing the man to walk to the edge of a balcony while wearing what appears to be a vest made up of explosives.
The Mirror reports that both the gunman and hostage were seen on the 13th floor balcony of the Saint Peter Hotel in Brasilia, Brazil this afternoon. The Mirror adds that the gunman was heard advocating the fall of Brazil's president, Dilma Rousseff.
Lastly, the Mirror adds that the hotel has been evacuated while authorities negotiate the hostages safe release with the gunman.
