Benedict Cumberbatch is an enormously talented actor who just won an Emmy for his performance as the lead on Sherlock, and is an early favorite for a Best Actor Oscar nod for The Imitation Game. His credentials are almost impeccable. Almost.
That’s because there is one glaring weakness on his résumé that, while relatively innocuous, prevents him from being a truly perfect actor: he cannot pronounce the word “penguin.”
