Before you get scared all over again, don’t worry; there’s no terrifying clown.
That doesn’t mean, however, that there aren’t some unsettling images in this first long teaser for American Horror Story: Freak Show. How does a bearded Cathy Bates sound? Or a three-boobed Angela Bassett? Or perhaps a two-headed Sarah Paulson?
Michael Chiklis actually just looks kind of funny as the strong man (it’s probably the mustache), but it’s a lock that he is up to some crazy stuff too. And of course, they’re all led by the always-terrifying Jessica Lange, who is flanked here by the world’s smallest woman Jyoti Amge.
Emma Roberts said that she “was having nightmares” after reading the script, so it seems as though things are only going to get scarier from here. And considering we didn't even get to see the infamous clown yet, that's probably true.
