Robin Williams’ range onscreen is well-known, and he earned himself an Oscar proving just how talented he was as an actor. In the wake of his passing, Entertainment Tonight debuted two clips of one of his final performances, the holiday comedy Merry Friggin' Christmas.

Williams plays the curmudgeonly, estranged father to star Joel McHale, and even though this footage is only a total of about one minute we can already see why Williams and his son don’t really get along. While it will be difficult to watch the film and not think about Williams’ passing, these first glimpses sure make it seem like we’ll at least have plenty of laughs too.
