Authorities in Florida charged an 18-year-old for allegedly beating up a 16-year-old autistic boy at a party recently after video of the incident went viral.

According to WFTV, the younger boy said he was invited to a house party in Okeechobee City, Fla. where he consumed liquor and was instructed to fight someone. When he refused, he said Andrew Wheeler was summoned and began attacking him upon arrival:

In the incident report he claims Wheeler followed him outside, choked him until he lost consciousness and struck him in the face.

A police officer later found the victim after midnight lying in the road on Southwest 6th Street. He was then transported to a hospital.

A doctor said the victim suffered a sprained neck, facial and scalp contusions and a concussion.

While at the hospital, the officer said he learned the video was posted to Facebook and that it was tagged to a Facebook profile with the name Andrew Wheeler.

Wheeler, who was arrested on Sunday, told detectives that he was told someone was drunk at the party and refused to leave after pushing and attacking another attendee. He also claimed that the victim tried to punch him as he attempted to take him outside, noting that this caused him to lose his temper.

In addition to Wheeler being jailed on child abuse charges, Evadean Dailey Lydecker—who lives at the home where the incident allegedly took place—was also arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
