On Friday, July 25, Complex and Team Epiphany debuted their third #SUMMERFRIDAYS event. This time around they took the party to the Hornblower Hybrid for an all-white yacht-themed cruise titled, appropriately, “Oh Ship.”
Partygoers donning all white arrived at Pier 40 on the Hudson River, where an exquisitely appointed ship awaited them, as well as a surprise listening session with Wiz Khalifa for his upcoming LP, Blacc Hollywood. During the event guests enjoyed an assortment of delicious appetizers and beverages, including Moët Ice Impérial, chilled Heineken, and mini bottles of Evian water. Among the listeners was Leah McSweeney, founder of clothing line Married to the Mob, as well as models Shaun D. Ross and Diandra Forrest.
Once the listening session ended, DJ Wonder took to the booth and the Hornblower set sail on the Hudson. Moët Ice Impérial was flowing as the yacht sailed out, offering guests breathtaking views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. Even after the Hornblower was docked, patrons continued to party—right up until the last minutes of DJ Wonder’s final set. A few lucky guests went home with JBL headphones gifted to them by William Yan, while others were gifted special edition all-white Married to the Mob t-shirts to commemorate the brand's 10-year anniversary.
