The Pirates of the Caribbean Franchise is far from a sinking ship as a date for the latest installment in the series has just been announced by Walt Disney Studios.

The fifth Pirates' film will premiere July 7, 2017. Originally, the fifth film was supposed to premiere summer 2015, but there was issues with the script.

2017 isn’t that far away if you think about Disney’s recent announcement of Marvel films scheduled until 2019, but it’ll still make you feel old.

If that doesn’t make you feel old just think that by the time the fifth Pirates'  movie comes out the franchise will be 14-years-old.

Arrrgh.
