A shooting that took place at a Chicago office building this morning has left one person dead and another injured, authorities say.
The Chicago Tribune reports that shots were fired just before 10 a.m. this morning. One person was killed after reportedly being shot in the head, while another sustained unspecified injuries.
The Tribune adds that, according to an officer on the scene, the shooting was a murder-suicide attempt. The Huffington Post notes that the area appears to have been secured.
