Columbus Short, aka that guy from those dancing movies and also some ABC show that is apparently popular, was arrested Saturday on charges of public intoxication after he allegedly fought with a security guard who thought Short might be leaving without paying his tab, TMZ reports.
Short, who played DJ in Stomp the Yard and its direct-to-DVD sequel, and recently left his role as Harrison Wright on the hit series Scandal, was arrested at the Katy Trail Ice House, a popular beer garden and restaurant in Dallas, Texas, at around 2 a.m.
Witnesses said Short accused the security guard of racism, to which the guard shot back that he was also black, before the cops broke up a short fight between the two, TMZ reports.
It's not his first run-in with the law. Short recently pleaded not guilty to a battery charge after police in March said he punched a guy and broke his nose at a bar in West Hollywood. He also faced a misdemeanor domestic violence case.
