After yesterday’s announcement that Allison Williams had landed the lead role in NBC’s live production of Peter Pan, there were naturally questions as to how she got the part given that her father Brian Williams is the popular anchor of the NBC Nightly News. Last night, however, Brian Williams defused pretty much all tension with this report.
While perhaps a little embarrassing for Allison, Brian’s photographic evidence certainly suggests that this is a role she has been preparing for pretty much her entire life.
