Blake Lively has just joined Zooey Deschanel and Gwyneth Paltrow in the world of celebrities with lifestyle sites.
The actress, famous for her role as super rich kid Serena Van Der Woodsen on Gossip Girl has premiered a new lifestyle website, Preserve, which encompasses style, food, and culture, among other things.
In her letter from the editor she describes the site as: "...part magazine, part e-commerce hub, part philanthropic endeavor and above all, a place to showcase the power of imagination, ingenuity, quality, and above all, people."
The site’s philanthropic efforts include providing “5,000 children a meal, 2,000 children a blanket, and 2,700 children a warm hoodie, all within the U.S.” Funding will come from the site’s profits.
