Skate spots are ephemeral things: as fast as they get discovered, they get destroyed. But even a short-lived spot can be remembered long after the bulldozers leave. With those special locations in mind, Complex's Rides channel recently put together a list of iconic spots that met less-than-optimal fates. And in a similar spirit, City Guide has decided to take a look at the doomed ledges, rails, and parks of New York City.
