Uncharted 4: A Thief's End may be the series last. This according to hints dropped by the voice of game protagonist Nathan Drake, actor Nolan North.

“If this is the last one indeed, and I believe it’s the last one – nothing’s confirmed, but I believe it’s the last one Naughty Dog wants to do, in which case I hope somebody else doesn’t pick up the mantle because they’ve done it so well for so long – but yeah, it’s one of those things where you just have to cross that bridge when you get to it.”

This could possibly be the last for developer Naughty Dog who has another big hit on its shoulders with The Last of Us. So while this may be the last for Naughty Dog it may not be the finale of the series.

“I like the idea of going out on top,” continued North, “so we better do a hell of a job with this one… and it’s already looking pretty good.”

A trailer released during the Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, this week showed off the detail of A Thief's End on the PlayStation 4. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is set to release sometime in 2015.
