It's Official: "Jurassic World" Will Be Incredibly Creepy

As if it weren't creepy enough already, "Jurassic World" will be shooting scenes in an abandoned theme park.

We already knew Jurassic World was going to be nuts; anytime you get genetic splicing of a T-Rex with a raptor, snake, and cuttlefish, there is going to be significant carnage.

As if you needed further reason to anticipate getting scared out of your wits, though, there’s a report from CinemaBlend that says they’re going to be filming scenes in New Orleans. But not just any part of New Orleans; no, they’re going to be using the abandoned Six Flags theme park, which after being ravaged by Hurricane Katrina was deemed a total loss and left to rot.

It has been used for filming since 2011, with recent films Percy Jackson: Sea Of Monsters and Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes shooting scenes there. Here are just a few sample images of how utterly creepy this place is:

Add dinosaurs on a rampage, sneaking out from dark corners, and eating people alive, and you now have an idea for what we’ll be dealing with when Jurassic World hits theaters on June 12th, 2015. Excited?
