Today in wow people are idiots. In a stunning act of stupidity, a Fresno jury mistakenly declared burglar Bobby Lee Pearson not guilty when he had clearly committed the crimes for which he was accused.

Much to the shock and horror of judge presiding over the case, Pearson was set free as the mistake was only identify after the not guilty verdict had been recorded by the courts.

Because our justice system is a complete farce and the people of Fresno apparently can't read, the jury signed the "not guilty" form when they had in fact voted 8-to-4 in favor of the defendant's guilt. Somewhat ironically, Pearson was murdered during a fight just hours after his release.

I don't know about you, but what this says to me is that you definitely should not trust a "jury of your peers." It's best to stay out of the criminal justice system all together—especially if you're black.

If you need more evidence regarding how much of a joke the justice system is, check out the Innocence Project, a non-profit organization that helps exonerate convicted men and women by introducing DNA evidence that prosecutors would rather ignore.
