Many people were worried when Far Cry 4 announced that elephants would be a part of the new game world. The worry, based on past Far Cry games, was that players would be hunting and killing the gentle, endangered beasts. On the contrary players will be using elephants to smash bad guys into a soft bloody pulp subtitle to filling the gaps in a breezy wall.

Check out this footage from PlayStation Accessof a gamer mounting up on an elephant and charging a stronghold. Elephants can be used to take out walls and doors, topple vehicles and pick up soldiers to return them to the ground with a viscous thump and trampling.

Developer announced early this week that players on the PlayStation 4 will be able to invite other friends who do not own the game to play cooperatively for free. Now you can both mount elephants and ride in to the bullet-filled sunset.

Far Cry 4 drops on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on November 18, 2014. For more details, including the game's new vehicle take-downs, check all the footage here.
