Why is Marcus so weird? What is up with Halle Berry’s facial expressions? Is this how aliens impregnate one another?
These are just some of the questions we have after watching this sneak peak of Extant, an upcoming show on CBS starring Berry as an astronaut who returns pregnant from a solo mission in space. It appears this (alien?) Marcus fellow is somehow involved in the baby-making process, although what exactly he is certainly is an open-ended question.
We know that back in Berry’s earth days, Marcus was an ex-boyfriend, but there’s something about this version that obviously does not seem human. Chiefly, the lack of ability to speak English seems to be a red flag to us.
Steven Spielberg’s Amblin TV is producing the show, so you know there’s going to be plenty of sci-fi action. And, if we’re lucky, some Reese's Pieces.
