"Candy Crush" Somehow Still Relevant Thanks to Vice Fashion Shoot

With E3 2014 winding down, Vice has contributed to video game coverage in the most Vice way possible.

After Candy Crush Saga's recent disastrous IPO, the mobile game equivalent to huffing silver spray-paint out of a middle schooler's lunch bag has inspired a recent Vice fashion shoot.

Vice being Vice has decided to take the unscrupulous addictive nature of Candy Crush Saga as inspiration. Vice goes out of their way to clearly state that: "This shoot is not affiliated with Candy Crush Saga",  but Vice doesn't miss the opportunity to comment on the crippling blood magic that King uses to keep people playing; an addiction counselor was brought in to talk about the people who claim to suffer from Candy Crush dependency.

Just to go on record, I still think Candy Crush Saga is a shitty game. Enjoy the photos courtesy of Holly Falconer and head over to Vice to check out the rest of the shoot.
