You can be killed off in "Game of Thrones" for only $20,000. Seriously.

This is really a bargain, if you think about it: Can anyone really put a price on George R. R. Martin crafting their grisly, violent, bloody death in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series? No. No they cannot. So, asking $20,000 to do so isn't that crazy!

Per a new charity crowdfunding effort he's taking part in through Prizeo, Martin has announced that he'll create a character in the upcoming A Song of Ice and Fire book he's writing named after whoever donates $20,000 to the cause—which will aid the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary and The Food Depot—and then he will promptly kill said character. Seriously—this is from the donation page itself:

None

It's possible that Game of Thrones would then feature the character in the series, of course, considering how closely the show is following the books—so this has the potential to be a really awesome deal. And we all know how creative Martin can get with killing off characters...

Other prizes include: $7,500 for one of Martin's old greek sailor caps ("well worn!") and $15,000 for breakfast with Martin. Check out the Prizeo page here.
