Would you trust Anna Kendrick with your baby? Probably, she seems like a responsible, young adult. Based on Up in the Air, she could probably handle a crying babe while speeding through the airport. Based on Pitch Perfect, she'd sing it a sweet soothing lullaby despite rolling her eyes. But her character, Jenny, in Happy Christmas? Most relatable character ever.
Kendrick stars in Joe Swanberg's latest indie as a booze loving, irresponsible little sister, crashing at her brother and sister-in-law's place. The clip below features Melanie Lynskey giving Kendrick the basic run-down of babysitting, and Kendrick's response doesn't necessarily inspire confidence in her baby-watching skills.
Happy Christmas is on VOD and ITunes now and will be in theaters August 1st.
