An agile teenager escaped the clutches of police by making a daring escape from police in Colorado this week.

According to KRDO, the unidentified 16-year-old reportedly used a credit card stolen from a relative to purchase a room at the Antlers Hilton hotel in Colorado Springs, Colo. on May 19. Following the card's activity, the relative notified authorities, who traced the teen's whereabouts to the hotel.

They were unable to enter the room until a search warrant was obtained, thus giving the teen, who's described as a runaway, time to tie bed sheets together and rappell down four stories to freedom. He and a friend are said to have boarded a Greyhound bus from there and left the area.

They're still at large, remaining at least one step ahead of police.
