Murdered: Soul Suspect has a lot going on. It is a horror game where players must solve the mystery of not only their own death from beyond the grave but also stop a serial killer from continuing his spree. With an overarching sense of menace and heavily tied to the troubled past of Salem, the game sets out to create a challenging and frightening world.
Since your character, Ronan, can no longer interact with the world he can possess people and living things to influence their actions and discover clues. The trailer states that any living thing can be possessed in the game, but examples shown are of people and a cat. It is unclear whether other critters will be subject to influence as well.
Murdered: Soul Suspect is heading to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on June 3.
