A plane traveling from Los Angeles to Philadelphia was forced to make an emergency landing this week because a dog defecated in the aisle. Several times.

According to NBC Philadelphia, US Airways Flight 598 was grounded on Wednesday after the dog turned the plane's aisle into its personal bathroom as many as three times. The crew ran out of paper towels after the second incident, and the resulting odor made some passenger's sick, prompting the premature landing. Keep in mind that this came after the flight's departure from L.A. was delayed by two hours because of fuel issues.

"The pilot comes on the radio, 'Hey, we have a situation in the back, we're going to have to emergency land,'" witness Steve McCall told Inside Edition. The plane landed in Kansas City, Mo., allowing a cleaning crew to save the day.

The plane eventually made it home, leaving everyone with quite the story to tell. Inside Edition adds that the dog's owner was extremely apologetic, reportedly offering to give everyone aboard a Starbucks gift card. That's kindness.
