Respect doesn’t always follow fame, and no family has learned that more over the years than the Kardashians. They may be rich, famous, and beautiful, but they’re also an easy target for every late night host and Twitter comic looking for some low-hanging fruit. And now the wealthy are even thumbing their noses at the family.
Real estate sources have told TMZ that residents throughout the Hamptons are refusing to rent property to Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian for the summer because they are afraid they will "attract trash and ruin Southampton.” Homeowners are apparently very wary of the image hit the area would take from the family.
The duo has apparently been shunned in both Northampton and Southampton while trying to rent property to film Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons. Apparently the Hamptons aren’t for the taking, and if no one lets the duo in soon, E! might soon have to rethink its plans on where this debacle will take place.
