FHM—a British magazine analogous to Maxim—has named the “Sexiest Woman in the World” for 2014, and the winner is not all that big a surprise: Jennifer Lawrence.
The 23-year-old actress has already accomplished much in her young career, winning an Oscar in 2013 for Silver Linings Playbook and earning another nomination this year for American Hustle. She also has won over fans far and wide with her self-deprecation and occasionally hilarious gaffes that range from falling on the red carpet to getting absolutely wasted at parties.
J-Law took the FHM title from Mila Kunis, who won the award last year and has a similarly high approval rating from the public.
Lawrence will be back on the big screen on May 23, reprising her role as Mystique in the highly-anticipated X-Men: Days of Future Past.
