The stray cat who was kicked—on camera—by a Brooklyn man is currently recovering at the ASPCA's Bergh Hospital.
According to Gothamist, the year-old cat, known as King, is doing well. In a statement, the ASPCA said that King "will continue to receive treatment and close monitoring as he heals." There's been a strong interest in adopting King, but the ASPCA said it's still "too soon to discuss a timeline" for that.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Andre Jackson has been charged with aggravated animal cruelty.
