It’s been a week since we learned who would be starring in Star Wars: Episode VII, and now comes word from Disney CEO Bob Iger that there are at least three additional Star Wars spin-off movies in development at the studio. According to Super Hero Hype, this news was confirmed during a Q2 fiscal conference call from the company.

Iger didn’t go into specifics about who the spin-offs will focus on, but there are a few usual suspects to expect, such as Boba Fett, Yoda, Han Solo, and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Lawrence Kasdan and Simon Kinberg have already been brought on board to work on these films, but all other reports have just been rumor until now.

It’s being reported that the spin-off movies will alternate release years with the new Star Wars trilogy movies, so they would presumably come out in 2016, 2018, and 2019. With dozens of characters to choose from, who do you hope gets their own spin-off film?
