"And So It Goes" Promises Geriatric-Based Hilarity

"And So It Goes" promises to test the limits of jokes about being old.

We guess it’s inevitable that when some of the movies’ biggest stars age, so too do the jokes they tell. That at least is the idea between And So It Goes, the newest comedy from Rob Reiner which stars Michael Douglas and Diane Keaton.

Douglas will probably not be cracking jokes about his views on the cause of various forms of oral cancer, unfortunately, instead leaning heavily on zingers like “I’ve sold houses older than you, and in worse condition!” to get laughs. Naturally, as a ruthless, cold-hearted, emotionally distant real estate broker, he will need the innocence of a child to bring him out of his shell.
