Last night at the MTV Movie Awards, Ellen Page introduced a clip of the X-Men: Days of FuturePast's opening battle sequence. If you opted to go the HBO or AMC route last night, chances are you didn't catch it when it aired, but, luckily, you can check it out now.
X-Men: Past Days of Future Past sees Wolverine sent back into his past body to prevent an assassination that leads to a dark future for mutant-kind. In the comic, Page's Kitty Pryde travels back in time, but you can't have that in the movie. It has to be Wolverine.
X-Men: Past Days of Future Past also stars Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, Shawn Ashmore, Omar Sy, Fan Bingbing, Adan Canto, Josh Helman and Evan Peters. It arrives in theaters on May 23.
