When news initially broke that Shaquille O'Neal would be turning to the crowd-funding site Indiegogo to reboot his Super Nintendo/Genesis title from the 90s, our first question was: Why?

Shaq-Fu wasn't a great game, hell, it wasn't even a good game. The controls were famously garbage and the side-scrolling beat-em-up would have been instantly forgettable if Shaq hadn't been at the zenith of his 1990's super fame. 

So, why reboot a game that's mostly remembered as a campy piece of nostalgia? Well that's just one of the questions that was answered by one of the members of the development team working on Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn

Oliver Hollis-Leick took to Reddit for an AMA yesterday to answer some of the more pressing questions fans and backers of the project had for the team.
