In a new Direct video, Nintendo has spilled the beans on nearly every aspect of the upcoming Mario Kart 8 for Wii U. The massive 30-minute game tour details everything from anti-gravity, new driving tactics, online modes and all new cart customization in a typically quirky Nintendo style.

The Nintendo Direct follows the format of flipping TV channels. Interspersed between interviews with developers are infomercial-style Kart descriptions and details on new power-ups and characters.

A new featured called Mario Kart TV will allow gamers to save and review racing highlight reels and upload them to Mario Kart TV for other Wii U users to view or players can directly upload them to YouTube.

Check out the complete Direct for everything you ever wanted to know about the upcoming game including race time comparisons between Karts and Bikes and the year of Luigi coming to a close.

Also announced is a new Mario Kart 8 Wii U bundle to be released alongside the game on May 30. Priced at $330, the bundle includes a Black Wii U Deluxe, red Wii Remote Plus Wheel along with the game. Check out the video for more deals from Nintendo.
