The New York Post reports that homeless people in New York are now living inside the Manhattan Bridge.

A man who had been thought to have been a suicide jumper turned out to be a resident of a makeshift "coffin-like" structure above the bridge's bike lanes.

While the city seemed unaware of the situation after The Post contacted them, odd living situations for homeless populations are nothing new. As Gizmodo notes,  similarly cramped quarters are common in Hong Kong. Still, it seems like there has to be a better situation for New York's growing homeless population.
