Amazon's "fire" might get extinguished.

After debuting FireTV, its set top streaming box, Amazon is getting sued by a porn company that claims it's infringing on its patent for their own set top box, similarly named FyreTV. While Amazon's FireTV lets users stream shows and other video content, FyreTV lets users do the same thing... except that it's streaming porn instead of House of Cards. The Florida-based company that owns FyreTV, WREAL, filed a formal complaint, and is seeking monetary damages during trial. And they might actually have a chance: the company registered FyreTV at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 2008, a full six years before Amazon's FireTV was released.
