People is reporting that 31-year-old Eric Hill, who is to appear on the upcoming season of The Bachelorette, died on Wednesday after suffering catastrophic injuries on April 20 in a paragliding accident.
Hill—an adventurer who in February 2013 declared that he would visit every single country in the world over the next 1200 days—was paragliding in Utah when his parachute collapsed. He had been in a coma until today, when he succumbed to his injuries with his family by his side.
