Ubisoft's upcoming Watch Dogswill feature a eight player, open-world, multiplayer mode. This was confirmed today by Ubisoft creative director Jonathan Morin in responding to a fan on Twitter asking what gamers could expect outside of the game's single-player modes.

Early this week Watch Dogs got an official release date for May 27, after six months of extra development time when delayed right after the launch of the huge hit Grand Theft Auto V.
